Canviz Business Technology Solutions seeks a Solution Architect to lead the solution delivery team in architecting, developing, deploying, and maintaining applications across web, cloud, mobile, and desktop platforms. Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a senior software developer / team lead.
• BA in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent.
• Experience in web development.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and generate detailed technical designs for development.
• Facilitate technical proofs of concepts (POC).
• Collaborate with development teams to debug and resolve issues.
• Advise on technical implications and options during requirement discussions.
• Own and drive complex tasks to completion.
• Work with QA to automate and validate deployments.
• Coordinate with clients and architects through the project lifecycle.

Job description

As a Solution Architect you will lead the Canviz solution delivery team to architect, develop, deploy, and maintain custom web, cloud, mobile, and desktop applications. You will work with clients, business analysts, technical leads, designers, lead developers, and testers throughout the development lifecycle to architect and implement solutions. You will be working with cutting edge technologies, primarily within the Microsoft stack, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365.

Compensation: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture, generating detailed technical designs for use in development efforts
• Facilitate and/or create technical proof of concepts (POC)
• Work with the development team to debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues
• Assist in requirement discussions to advise on technical implications and options
• Own and drive complex and critical path development tasks to completion
• Work with the test team to automate and validate production deployments
• Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and architects throughout the project lifecycle

Skills/Experience

• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical and non-technical issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive work approach and the ability to lead and make informed technical decisions
• Experience creating technical architecture documentation and diagrams
