Job summary

Qualifications

Canviz Consulting is seeking an experienced technical project manager to fill an immediate opening for project work in Kirkland, WA. The ideal candidate will have an array of experience managing technology projects on SharePoint and/or other web platforms with success in managing off-shore development teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex technology projects through project lifecycle to completion
• Define, matinain, and drive project schedule and corresponding deliverables
• Provide excellent customer service to client
• Facilitate bug triage and track issue cause, resolution and user acceptance seamlessly using bug/issue tracking tools as necessary
• Manage intake process for new requirements. Facilitate planning meetings for early project requirements gathering.
• Manage multiple project responsibilities across teams simultaneously and effectively
• Provide status reports and project schedule, scope, and budget
• Collaborate with project team to develop synergies across project touch points
• Evolve internal project management methodologies and best practices
• Mentor and monitoring new program for project management team members

Skills/Experience

Essential Qualifications:

• 5+ years of technology project experience
• 2+ years of IT experience in project management with understanding of structured methodology
• Clear understanding of web application development principals
• Knowledge of triage process and issue tracking using Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
• Experience using MS Project to track schedule, dependencies, and resource capacity/allocation
• Exceptional business writing and verbal communication skills (writing sample may be requested)
• Experience working with and managing off-shore teams
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field

Desired Qualifications

• Understand of basic architecture for web and mobile applications, Azure Iaas/PaaS, and SharePoint On-Prem and/or O365
• 2+ years leading/mentoring other project managers
• Microsoft Certification(s) a plus
• Fluency in programming/development languages such as C#, javascript and/or HTML5
• Experience with Agile methodologies
