Job summary

TriCom Technical Services is seeking a mid-to-senior Technical Project Manager in Minnesota to lead a portfolio of software, infrastructure, and security initiatives. You will partner with IT teams and leadership to translate requirements into actionable plans, drive delivery, and manage budgets and risks.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience across software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or related IT environments, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading technology projects in software, infrastructure, cybersecurity, or related IT environments.
• Hands-on experience managing software implementation and technical project execution.
• Ability to work closely with IT teams and understand architectures, delivery processes.
• Experience decomposing complex business requirements into actionable tasks and deliverables for technical teams.
• Working knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies.
• Strong communication, organizational, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of technology projects including software development, infrastructure deployments, security initiatives, SaaS implementations, and compliance programs.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable project plans, workstreams, and deliverables.
• Drive project execution using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
• Manage project planning, timelines, budgets, risks, status reporting, and resource coordination.
• Support a multi-year NIST security compliance program and ongoing network and storage infrastructure initiatives.
• Relieve technical teams of administrative project responsibilities by owning planning, reporting, communication, and budget tracking.
• Facilitate collaboration across cross-functional teams while ensuring alignment to organizational goals and priorities.
