Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Technical Project Manager to drive hardware and manufacturing initiatives in Santa Clara, CA. This onsite role requires close collaboration across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain, with travel during onboarding.

You will coordinate schedules, track progress, report status to leadership, and partner with senior PMs to manage priorities and risks in dynamic manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project management within manufacturing or engineering environments.
• Ability to work under pressure with evolving priorities and minimal structure.
• Strong communication, accountability and ownership of responsibilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically 50-60% initially; 10-20% to Mexico/China.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hardware and manufacturing project activities across engineering, operations, quality, and supply chain.
• Maintain schedules, monitor progress, and ensure critical tasks are completed on time.
• Facilitate meetings, document decisions, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
• Partner with senior Program Managers to manage priorities, mitigate risks and resolve challenges.
• Support domestic and international manufacturing efforts through site visits and reviews.
