Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex hardware and manufacturing programs from development through production. The role requires onsite collaboration in Valley Green, PA with substantial travel during ramp-up, and interaction with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of program management experience in manufacturing or hardware, strong stakeholder skills, and the ability to navigate fast-changing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (ME/Manufacturing/Industrial) required.
• Minimum 4+ years of Program Management experience in manufacturing, hardware or product development.
• Demonstrated success in fast-changing, high-pressure environments with competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management, conflict resolution, and decision-making with cross-functional influence.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% to Valley Green, PA and Santa Clara, CA with 10–20% international travel.

Responsibilities

• Direct complex hardware and manufacturing programs from development through production.
• Partner with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality and customer teams to drive execution.
• Lead program reviews, risk assessments and strategic discussions for informed decisions.
• Balance customer expectations with internal capabilities by resolving conflicts and aligning priorities.
• Coordinate activities across domestic and international manufacturing sites to support product delivery.
