Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead complex technical and operational projects from concept through implementation and sustainment. You will partner with manufacturing teams to optimize processes, manage CAPEX investments, and monitor performance across safety, quality, and cost targets.

The role requires strong PM skills, manufacturing domain knowledge, and the ability to drive cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, operations, quality, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical, manufacturing, or capital investment projects.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, controls, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from concept through implementation, commissioning, and sustainment.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, CAPEX tracking, milestones, risks, and status reports.
• Establish governance structures, including WBS, OBS, milestone plans, and cost trajectories.
• Drive action item management and ensure closure across stakeholders.
• Monitor schedules and ensure adherence to plans and milestones.
• Identify risks, mitigate, and escalate critical issues as needed.
• Ensure projects deliver on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Define KPIs and dashboards to monitor performance and benefits realization.
