Job summary

Cambium Learning Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager I to coordinate delivery of complex initiatives across backend systems and data platforms. You will act as the main point of contact for project execution and work with engineering and product teams to ensure timely, high-quality results.

Requirements include a CS/Engineering degree and 2+ years in technical data analysis or project coordination, with strong SQL Server, Excel, and Jira/Confluence skills; incident management experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in technical data analysis, product support, or technical project coordination.
• Hands-on proficiency with SQL Server and writing scripts.
• Strong MS Excel skills including advanced formulas, cleanup, and pivots.

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis and troubleshooting across backend systems; assess severity and escalate to engineering.
• Write and run SQL queries to extract and validate complex data sets.
• Manage Jira backlog, sprints, and delivery reporting; translate technical findings for leadership.
• Author and maintain runbooks and architecture docs with Systems Engineers.
