Job summary

The role requires 7–10 years in technical environments with 2–5 years of project management, strong leadership, and a DoD security mindset. Citizenship and clearance eligibility are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in technical or engineering environments with 2–5 years in project management.
• Strong leadership and ability to motivate teams to deliver results.
• Technical foundation — engineering degree or related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Excellent organizational, communication, presenting, and decision-making skills.
• Adaptable to startup environments; able to build structure where needed.
• U.S. citizenship and current US SECRET clearance (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary interface between customers, internal engineering teams, and leadership.
• Manage budget, schedule, and scope, adjusting dynamically as project needs evolve.
• Lead risk management, resource planning, and performance tracking.
• Establish and refine project management processes suitable for a high-growth, agile startup.
• Support proposal development, planning, and strategic growth initiatives.
• Ensure system development environment and DoD security requirements alignment.
