FinOps Weekly is seeking a Technical Project Manager (FinOps) to drive the execution of cloud, FinOps, and infrastructure initiatives in a fully remote, 12-month contract.

You will own alignment, visibility, and delivery across cross-functional workstreams, translating strategic goals into actionable plans and coordinating teams across technical, scientific, and business groups. Strong Jira and Agile skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in project/program management, PMO, business operations, or technology operations.
  • Experience coordinating complex technical or infrastructure initiatives.
  • Familiarity with FinOps, cloud financial management, cloud infrastructure, AI/compute environments, or capacity planning.
  • Experience supporting cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation programs.
  • Proficient with Jira and Agile delivery practices.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate initiatives across the FinOps and infrastructure roadmap.
  • Maintain project plans, milestones, risks, and dependencies.
  • Track actions and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Governance & operating rhythms: support governance meetings, workshops, and review forums.
  • Visibility & reporting: maintain portfolio-level visibility and executive-ready updates.
  • Stakeholder alignment: facilitate communication across technical, scientific, and business teams.
  • Continuous improvement: identify and implement planning and reporting improvements.

Pay: $50-54/hr Fully Remote 12 month contract Role Overview The Technical Project Manager will support execution across FinOps, cloud, and technical enablement workstreams. The role focuses on driving alignment, visibility, and delivery across initiatives involving cloud financial management, infrastructure governance, AI/compute enablement, capacity planning, and operational improvements. The TPM translates strategic goals into actionable plans and coordinates cross‐functional teams across technical, scientific, and business groups.
