Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale, cross-functional technical programs from inception through delivery and post-launch optimization. This role requires strong technical understanding, program governance expertise, and the ability to influence engineering, product, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex, cross-team, and cross-functional technical programs end-to-end
- Partner with engineering managers and technical leads to define scope, milestones, dependencies, and delivery plans
- Establish governance models, program plans, timelines, and success metrics
- Track execution, manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and ensure milestone adherence
- Own program scope, schedule, budget, and resource planning
Risk, Issue & Change Management
- Identify, assess, and mitigate program-level risks across technical, operational, and strategic areas
- Manage change requests and ensure stakeholder alignment on scope, schedule, and cost impacts
- Maintain risk and issue registers with clear mitigation strategies
Stakeholder & Executive Communication
- Build strong partnerships with engineering, product, and business stakeholders
- Provide regular program status updates, dashboards, and executive summaries
- Communicate roadmaps, value propositions, and upcoming changes across the organization
- Interface with senior leadership and represent programs in leadership forums
Process, Planning & Governance
- Drive continuous improvement in program management processes
- Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) across technical teams
Create and maintain core artifacts such as:
- Business Case
- Program Plan
- RACI Matrix
Leadership & Reporting
- Influence and lead without authority across distributed teams
- Support leadership reviews, strategic planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews
- Ensure programs meet delivery, quality, and strategic objectives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
- 12+ years of experience in Program or Project Management
- Strong knowledge of program management tools, metrics, and governance models
- Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing engineering-led programs
- Experience working with distributed or global teams
- Background in software development, systems, or infrastructure projects
