Job summary

Garland Industries, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager - Technical Sales Assistant to support the Garland Sales Representative with project management, on-site quality control, and daily communication with contractors and customers.

The role plans, coordinates, and supervises subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely, on-budget completion to specification. The position requires a strong background in construction or engineering, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to travel domestically.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary degree preferred.
• Background in construction, construction design, estimating, engineering or architecture is preferred.
• Excellent math, writing and communication skills (written and oral).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn Visio, Lucid Chart and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to multi-task in a detailed, team-oriented environment.
• Willingness to travel domestically; valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assessing new projects and leak solutions via inspection reports and subcontractors.
• Assist in development of asset management plans, project-specific plans, details and specifications.
• Controls the flow of information on project site.
• Manages sub-contractors by evaluating and monitoring performance.
• Track jobsite progress via daily reports and photographs.
• Monitors the work and compares it to schedule and specifications.
• Enforce quality assurance and control per specifications.
• Provide daily updates to Garland Representative’s team.
• All other duties as assigned.
