Job summary

Proactive Technology Management is seeking a highly capable Technical Project Manager to guide client projects through the full software development lifecycle. You will coordinate a cross-functional team of engineers and consultants, ensuring clear requirements, robust plans, and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes Lean UX, Agile practices, and strong communication with stakeholders. Onsite work is required Monday through Thursday in Waterford or Troy, MI, with a remote-friendly modern PMO.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined experience in technical project management, engineering management, or technical product ownership.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Lean UX.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, hyperautomation, and AI/ML is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements through the full software development lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource budgets.
• Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.
• Communicate progress, risks, and decisions to clients and stakeholders.
