alliantgroup in Houston, TX is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex software engineering and technology initiatives. This role suits someone who has progressed from software engineering or architecture into technical delivery leadership.

You will blend deep technical understanding with disciplined project management, collaborating with software engineers, data engineers, AI engineers, product teams, and executives to drive enterprise software,

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field; software engineering or architecture background.
Proven track record leading complex software development and technology initiatives.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
Experience with distributed teams and executive communication.

Responsibilities

Lead technology projects from initiative through delivery by translating objectives into executable plans.
Lead Agile delivery processes with sprint planning, backlog management, reviews, retrospectives, and prioritization.
Monitor delivery progress, team capacity, dependencies, and release schedules.
Provide technical leadership by guiding architecture discussions and planning across cloud, data, AI and integrations.
Create and maintain project roadmaps, diagrams, and technical documentation.
Lead AI and data-focused initiatives ensuring performance, security, and scalability.
