Allied Reliability is seeking a Sr Tech Lead - Software Engineering & AI in Houston to lead the design, development, deployment, and operation of production-grade digital products that blend strong software engineering with applied AI and GenAI capabilities.
The role carries a balanced 50:50 focus on architecture, APIs, platforms, cloud-native delivery, reliability, and security, while shaping practical AI use for business problems across lines of business.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in software engineering and AI product delivery.
- Strong experience with Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Proven ability to design and operate scalable, secure, cloud-native systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade applications and services embedding AI/GenAI.
- Lead engineering direction for APIs, platforms, and cloud-native patterns.
- Mentor engineers in coding standards, design, testing, and responsible AI use.
- Partner with PMs to translate requirements into scalable AI-enabled solutions.
- Ensure reliability, performance, observability, and security across services.
