Technical Project Manager – Private 5G Networks

Rate: £450–£500 per day

6-Month Rolling Contract

Remote with Travel (up to 50%)

We’re working with a global leader in technology and connectivity to find an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of international Private 5G Network projects.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically adept and highly organised individual to make a major impact within a cutting-edge wireless communications programme.

Key Objectives:

• Drive the strategic implementation of Private 5G Delivery programmes in line with organisational goals
• Maintain high standards across customer satisfaction, quality, and project performance
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure alignment with overarching programme outcomes
• Oversee budgets and funding allocation to ensure maximum efficiency

What You’ll Be Doing:

You’ll take ownership of Private 5G project delivery across international markets, collaborating with internal teams, vendor partners, and enterprise customers to deliver complex wireless solutions.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle project management—governance, planning, reporting, risk mitigation, and quality assurance—as well as stakeholder communication across all levels, from technical leads to C-suite executives.

You’ll serve as the critical bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring seamless execution and optimal outcomes for every deployment.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Business, or related field
• 6+ years of relevant project management experience, including 4–5 years in wireless deployment (Private 5G or cellular enterprise )
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
• Project management certifications (PMP, Prince2, MSP, ITIL or similar)
• Advanced knowledge of Private Wireless Network deployments
• Strong leadership and organisational capabilities
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50%
