Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
• Project Management certification.
• 7+ years IT experience; 5+ years in a Project Manager role.
• Experience leading end-to-end medium projects (apps or infra).
• Familiar with Agile, Waterfall, Iterative SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple medium and occasional large internal IT and business projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
• Develop and maintain project plans, adjusting methodologies as needed (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
• Execute cross-functionally from initiation to close, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals.
• Communicate effectively with sponsors and stakeholders, providing regular status updates.
• Coordinate resources, manage issues, risks, and change control using PMO tools and processes.
• Oversee project schedules, critical paths, deliverables, and quality standards.
• Track and forecast project financials and resource utilization.
• Facilitate project reviews, prepare executive updates, and support audit processes.

NextPath Workforce Solutions is currently seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our client’s team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid, contract position.

SALARY: $66-$70 per hour (depending on experience)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Project Management certification
• 7+ years overall in an IT capacity (exposure to applications, databases, networking, telecom/connectivity)
• 5+ years in a Project Manager role
• Experience leading small to medium application development or infrastructure projects end-to-end
• Familiarity with multiple SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.)
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver all phases of complex projects (scope, schedule, risk)
