Job summary

NextPath Workforce Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join our client's team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid, contract position.

The ideal candidate will bring 7+ years in IT, including 5+ years as a Project Manager, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, and a Project Management certification. You will lead end-to-end application development or infrastructure projects and coordinate cross-functional teams using Agile, Waterfall, and other SDLC methodologies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years overall in an IT capacity (exposure to applications, databases, networking, telecom/connectivity)
• 5+ years in a Project Manager role
• Experience leading small to medium application development or infrastructure projects end-to-end
• Familiarity with multiple SDLC methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Iterative, etc.)
• Proven ability to lead teams and deliver all phases of complex projects (scope, schedule, risk)

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple medium and occasional large internal IT and business projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risks
• Develop and maintain project plans, adjusting methodologies as needed (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
• Execute cross-functionally from initiation to close, ensuring alignment with company strategy and goals
• Communicate effectively with sponsors and stakeholders, providing regular status updates
• Coordinate resources, manage issues, risks, and change control using PMO tools and processes
• Oversee project schedules, critical paths, deliverables, and quality standards
• Track and forecast project financials and resource utilization
• Facilitate project reviews, prepare executive updates, and support audit processes

Education

$66-$70 per hour (depending on experience)
