Job summary

Optomi in partnership with a leading telecommunications company seeks a Technical Project Manager to coordinate resources, stakeholders and drive network wiring, turn-up, migrations and cutovers. The role focuses on project coordination, communication, organization, and delivering results across cross-functional teams.

You will lead meetings with Field Operations and support teams, track progress, and provide technical leadership for service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management or coordination in telecom/technical environment.
• Ability to read Circuit Layer Records (CLR) and complex schematics/designs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources for wiring, turn-up, migrations, and network cutovers.
• Work with Field Operations, support teams, and network resources.
• Coordinate meetings and ensure the right stakeholders are involved.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate resources for wiring, turn-up, migrations, and network cutovers
• Work with Field Operations, support teams, and network resources
• Coordinate meetings and ensure the right stakeholders are involved
• Track project progress and communicate updates or setbacks to leadership
• Align cross-functional teams and drive projects toward completion
• Provide technical leadership and support for network service assurance and delivery
• Review technical documentation, circuit records, schematics, and network designs

Qualifications:

• Project management or project coordination experience in a telecommunications or technical environment
• Knowledge of Transport network services, systems, operations, maintenance, and lifecycle
• Experience with SONET and/or Digital Access Cross-Connect (DACS)
• Knowledge of Element Management Systems (EMS), Operational Support Systems (OSS), network inventory, and provisioning systems
• Ability to read Circuit Layer Records (CLR) and complex schematics/designs
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple teams, stakeholders, and resources
• Ability to drive results and provide technical leadership when needed
• Telecommunications or telephony experience preferred
