MGM Resorts International is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead enterprise-wide technology initiatives in a corporate setting. You will plan, execute, and monitor projects with program managers, product managers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience, hybrid/Agile expertise, and a track record of delivering technology projects in hospitality or gaming environments.

Qualifications

• Proj certs: PMP, CSM, ACP.
• Experience with hybrid PM and agile scrum.

Responsibilities

THE JOB:

The Technical Project Manager is a corporate role within the Technology department focused on leading enterprise-wide strategic projects. This role is tasked with optimizing delivery of core Technology initiatives by catering project management techniques to minimize risk, meet timelines and achieve project goals. This position will plan and execute on projects in partnership with program managers, product managers, internal stakeholders, and external vendors. The Technical Project Manager regularly maintains core project deliverables such as the project plan, project status, risks, dependencies, and scope documents.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Lead planning and management of small to large-scale enterprise projects within the Technology
• department portfolio.
• Develop and maintain all project deliverables including the project timeline, project status, scope,
• priorities, milestones, and risks.
• Demonstrate indirect leadership to coordinate activities across project managers, product managers,
• technical and business stakeholders maintaining alignment towards project goals and timelines.
• Drive collaboration towards issue resolution, problem solve to maintain projects on track, and proactively
• communicate project roadblocks, dependencies, risks, and issues.
• Ability to motivate team members to drive towards progress and maintain focus when faced with project
• adversity.
• Support PMO reporting by regularly preparing status reports, communications, and presentations across all
• levels of the organization to ensure consistent alignment on progress and strategic direction.
• Collaborate across internal teams and external vendors to obtain buy in on project timeline and resources
• required to achieve project goals.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• 5+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience Required
• Project management certification (PMP, CSM, ACP)
• Previous technical experience or certifications
• Previous experience using hybrid project management and agile scrum methodologies
• Previous experience using Project Management tools, methodologies and techniques
• throughout all phases of the project lifecycle
• Previous experience leading Technology projects managing scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality, risks, reporting and metric development/tracking.
• Proven track record of successfully leading projects on time and within budget
• Interest in Technology, Transformation, and Process Improvement
• Experience working in a similar Technology, Hospitality, or Gaming setting
