Job summary

DataPath, Inc. seeks a Technical Project Manager to oversee complex PM-TN telecommunications programs. You will coordinate efforts, schedules, and resources across teams, reporting to leadership and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with contract goals.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship and a DoD Secret Clearance. A Bachelor’s degree in CS or Management (or equivalent with years of experience) and extensive PM experience in military-grade SATCOM systems are expected.

Qualifications

  • Twelve years in PM-TN telecommunications Ops.
  • Five years leadership of military hardware/software systems.
  • Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of strategic and tactical SATCOM terminals.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and manage highly technical projects, communications, resources and processes.
  • Lead a team on large projects or segments of large and complex programs.

We specialize in enabling complex communication networks that are critical to the operations of the Department of Defense, Civilian Government, and Commercial markets. Currently, we are seeking a Technical Project Manager.This position supports the U.S. Army Project Manager Tactical Network (PM TN) Global Field Service Representative (FSR) Support Services program. The program provides FSR support of communications for the Government primarily for operability and sustainment of the Tactical and Strategic antenna system such as the Deployable Ku Earth Terminal (DKET), Mobile DKET, Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR)/Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) Access Point (SNAP), United States Marine Corps (USMC) Support Wide Area Network (SWAN) and Commercialization efforts, Micro Very Small Aperture Terminal (mVSAT), VSAT, Inflatable Satellite Communications (SATCOM) Terminal (ISA) CJNCC NETOPS Multinational Information Sharing (MNIS) Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System (CENTRIXS), Coalition Partner Network-X (CPN-X); and Combined Joint Task Force (CJTF)-OIR AO-wide Network, but are not limited to only these terminals and support.The Technical Project Manager performs a wide range of activities associated with the day-to-day support of the contract. Work activities include providing functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.ResponsibilitiesCandidate must be prepared to live and work in Germany. Candidate is required to obtain a German work permit and perform job duties, for the duration of the contract, under German Ordinary Resident (OR) status.Must be willing and able to work 40 hours per week.Collaborate with all levels of contract personnel and report to Government and Corporate leadership.Plan, schedule, and manage highly technical projects, communications, resource plans, and processes.Apply leadership, organizational, planning, timekeeping, and problem-solving skills in support of day-to-day operations.Meet regularly with all stakeholders to determine project progress, address any questions or challenges, and ensure the project aligns with goals and objectives.Monitor project progress and generate regular reports on measurable items to update stakeholders.Establish and train teams on processes and strategies.Abide by all corporate, Government, and local labor laws and regulations.Apply performance standards and quality control standards as directed by the Standard Operating Procedures of the company and the Government.Participate in daily and weekly team meetings, as required.This position requires:US CitizenshipUS DOD Secret ClearanceA valid current US PassportRequired CertificationsCompTIA Security+ certificationMust maintain active certification throughout employment.Additional Requirements:Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management or a related field.Twelve (12) years of progressive experience in operations, maintenance, and sustainment of PM-TN telecommunications systems, terminals, and networks.Five (5) years of management and supervision experience of substantive military hardware/software communications systems.Five (5) years of systems analysis knowledge and experience.In lieu of Bachelor’s degree, must possess an Associate degree and fifteen (15) years of directly related specialized experience.In lieu of an Associate degree, must possess twenty (20) years of specialized experience.Must possess strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate and coach a wide variety of teams associated with the project. Must have experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.Possess analytical, organizational, time management, problem-solving, and computer skills.Must possess knowledge and experience of strategic and tactical SATCOM terminals: C, Ku, X, and Ka bands.
