One of Insight Global's manufacturing clients is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their PMO. The Technical Project Manager leads and manages cross-functional technology initiatives through the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, planning, design, development, implementation, and post-launch support. The role ensures high-quality delivery that is on time and within budget while balancing rigor with flexibility in a fast-paced environment. This role serves as a critical bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex technical work into clear business outcomes across manufacturing and distribution operations.

Skills and Requirements
Education & Certifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • PMP certification or in active pursuit.
  • Agile certification (e.g., Scrum, SAFe) preferred.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of exposure experience in software development, systems integration, infrastructure, or IT operations.
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, or operational environments preferred.
  • 4-7 years of experience managing technical projects through the full life cycle in IT, applications, infrastructure, data, or digital product environments
  • Experience coordinating technical teams, managing delivery dependencies, and working with Agile and Waterfall methods, including tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
  • Proven experience managing ERP, WMS, TMS, or other enterprise system implementations.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, facilitation, and risk management skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language for business stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong customer service mindset and sense of urgency to deliver results.
