Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between the technical and business sides of the organization, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business goals. As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technical projects, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, and managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for technical initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring clear communication of project status, risks, and changes.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product management, and other technical teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential obstacles to keep projects on track.
  • Agile Methodology: Implement Agile/Scrum methodologies for project execution, organizing sprints, managing backlogs, and facilitating daily stand‑ups and retrospectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to technical specifications, conducting post‑project evaluations and driving continuous improvement.
  • Resource Management: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including technical specifications, timelines, and project reports.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical / Hard Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience across the full SDLC, including development, system analysis, operations, deployment, integrations, and support.
  • 3–5+ years of experience managing complex, technical software projects in a multi‑vendor environment using both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Prior hands‑on software development experience before transitioning into technical project/delivery management.
  • Strong technical proficiency in mobile and web application development, systems integration, QA processes, and product release/support requirements.
  • Understanding of the mobile development lifecycle (coding proficiency not required).
  • Ability to lead vendor teams by defining requirements and driving design, development, and implementation.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, JIRA, Confluence, and other project delivery tools.
  • Strong project planning and execution abilities—accurately scoping tasks, building schedules, and tracking progress.
  • Skilled in risk management, issue resolution, scope alignment, and quality management.
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical issues, dependencies, limitations, and constraints.
  • Strong analytical skills for reporting, project data analysis, and communicating insights.
  • Able to smoothly switch between high‑level strategy and critical detailed execution.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Active PMP certification.
  • Experience in telematics or project management in the automotive industry.
