Position Summary:

The University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is seeking a motivated technical project manager to join our agile and multi-disciplinary team of professionals, supporting multiple customers leveraging cutting-edge technology. This position will support the AM Engineering Group, lead technical project managers, program managers, production teams, and engineers. The role involves assisting engineers with weekly project management tasks using agile-inspired methods to ensure projects stay on track. Responsibilities include tracking daily schedules, formatting technical or financial information into desired formats, coordinating schedule, cost, and deliverables with program management teams, reviewing deliverables before submission, and providing customer-facing support, including presenting data and transmitting information as needed. Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) is required.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree in business management or equivalent.
2. 3 years of experience in technical project management.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
4. Experience with MS Project for program management.
5. Experience creating professional briefings and communications using MS PowerPoint.
6. Attention to detail.
7. Effective interpersonal communication skills.
8. Successful collaboration within a multi-disciplinary team.
9. Effective verbal communication with clients at all levels.
10. Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
11. Must be a U.S. citizen due to research contract requirements with the U.S. federal government.

For P2 candidates, in addition to the above, the following qualifications are required:

1. Bachelor’s degree in business management, technical, or equivalent with 3+ years of professional experience.
2. Familiarity with agile project management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Agile Project Management.
• Agile Scrum Master certification.
• DAU Level I or II Life Cycle Logistics certification or PMP certification.
• Knowledge of US Air Force policies and procedures.
• Over 5 years of business, finance, or technical project management experience.
• Experience using an ERP system.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Successful proposal writing experience.
• Experience working with engineering and technical teams.
• Active CAC holder.
