Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Bridgewater, MA to plan, lead, and deliver IT initiatives such as software rollouts and system integrations. You will define scope, timelines and budgets while coordinating cross-functional teams and reporting progress to stakeholders.

Job Role:

An Information Technology (IT) project manager plans, leads, and delivers technology initiatives like software rollouts, infrastructure upgrades, or system integrations on time and within budget.

Core Responsibilities

• Planning: Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and milestones.
• Budgeting: Estimate costs, forecast expenses, and manage the project budget. Team Leadership: Coordinate cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and track performance.
• Risk Management: Identify potential roadblocks and build mitigation plans.
• Communication: Share progress reports with stakeholders, clients, and company leaders.

Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall frameworks.

Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or Agile/Scrum Master certifications.

Tools: Experience with Jira, MS Project, or Confluence

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 to $99,000 yearly depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
