Job summary

CLA seeks a Technical Lead Consultant - Tekion to guide technical and functional discovery for Tekion dealership clients and own the escalation path to Tekion. The role emphasizes root-cause analysis, scoped support, and remediation delivery.

You will collaborate with the Growth team to translate findings into estimates and Statements of Work, while developing deployment strategies and reusable toolkits for consistent service delivery. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Combination of experience and training may be accepted.
• 4 years of experience required; 5–7 years preferred.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), Tekion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and functional discovery with dealership clients to understand current state and business needs.
• Classify issues into training, configuration, workflow, integration, data, or product-defect to determine corrections.
• Reproduce and document customer issues; scope technical support, optimization and remediation projects.
• Work with Growth team to turn discovery findings into estimates, assumptions, deliverables and SOWs.
• Develop strategies for efficient software deployment and create toolkits for consistent service delivery.
• Support post-implementation engagements and provide ongoing client support.
• Maintain a knowledge base of recurring issues, root causes and solutions.

CLA is seeking a Technical Lead Consultant - Tekion. This role leads technical and functional discovery for Tekion dealership clients. It finds the root cause of reported issues and turns what it learns into scoped support, optimization, and remediation work. The role also serves as CLA's Tier 1 support resource and owns the escalation path to Tekion.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead technical and functional discovery with dealership clients to understand their current state, pain points, and business needs.
• Sort client issues into training, configuration, workflow, integration, data, or product-defect issues to decide the right correction.
• Reproduce and document customer issues
• Scope technical support, optimization, and remediation projects.
• Work with the Growth team to turn discovery findings into estimates, assumptions, deliverables, and Statements of Work (SOWs).
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient and effective software deployment, including toolkits for consistent service deliver delivery.
• Support delivery of post-implementation engagements.
• Provide support to Tekion dealership clients.
• Maintain a knowledge base of recurring dealership issues, their root causes, and their solutions.
• Continuously improve processes and methodologies

Requirements

Experience

• 4 Years of experience required. 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience with dealership management systems (DMS), preferably Tekion, is preferred.

Education

• Bachelor's degree is required. Combination of relevant experience, education, and training may be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.

Certifications / Licenses

None required. Tekion platform certification preferred.

Travel Requirements

This position could require travel.
