Job summary

Boss Products is seeking a technical engineer to design, analyze, and optimize safety systems across our fire and explosion protection solutions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts from concept to commercialization while ensuring reliability and compliance.

You will lead prototypes, feasibility studies, and project management efforts, coordinating with sales and manufacturing to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong background in system design, development and implementation.
• 1-5 years of experience in controls engineering role-preferred.
• Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design prototypes and lead development to commercialization.
• Analyze requirements, feasibility, and risk to propose solutions.
• Plan and manage projects from concept to completion within timelines and budgets.
• Diagnose technical issues, perform maintenance, and implement upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales to align project goals.
• Conduct testing, validation, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create technical documentation and drawings to share knowledge.
