Boss Products is seeking a technical engineer to design, analyze, and optimize safety systems across our fire and explosion protection solutions. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to bring concepts from concept to commercialization while ensuring reliability and compliance.
You will lead prototypes, feasibility studies, and project management efforts, coordinating with sales and manufacturing to meet objectives.

As a technical engineer, you will be responsible for utilizing engineering principles and methodologies to solve technical problems, design systems, and ensure the smooth operation of various processes within the organization. Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, analyzing requirements, and implementing innovative solutions to meet project objectives.
Proficient in SolidWorks Electrical, SolidWorks 3D, AutoCAD -Required
Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
Strong project management abilities, including time management, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Inventory Management System(s) – Oracle, SalesForce, Fishbowl -Preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite -Required
Adobe Creative Suite - Required
Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) / Automation, Human-Machine Interface (HMI)-Preferred
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk/working on a computer (often)
Must be able to lift 25lbs. (occasionally)
Warehouse environments with occasional extreme heat/loud machinery (occasionally)
Ability to travel via plane and automobile (occasionally)
