Responsibilities

  • Coordinate multiple concurrent projects while ensuring adherence to customer requirements, company standards, safety expectations, and operational objectives.
  • Manage project documentation, deliverables, reporting requirements, and project records throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support project forecasting, budget tracking, change management activities, and cost.
  • Lead and manage HT&P service projects from initial customer inquiry through project completion, invoicing, and closeout.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, execution plans, resource plans, and project milestones to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, identify schedule impacts, resource constraints, and operational risks, and implement corrective actions as required.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, field personnel, operations, engineering, sales, quality, and leadership teams.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication, technical consultation, and effective issue resolution.
  • Facilitate project kickoff meetings, progress reviews, operational planning discussions, and project closeout meetings.
  • Provide timely project updates to stakeholders regarding schedule status, resource needs, project risks, and operational performance.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure clear communication of project scope, timelines, deliverables, and changes.
  • Identify personnel, equipment, tooling, and subcontractor requirements necessary for successful project execution.
  • Assign field technicians and project resources based on qualifications, scheduling, workload, and priority.
  • Monitor resource utilization and workforce availability to maximize efficiency and project performance.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure resources, rental equipment, and materials are available when required.
  • Provide technical guidance and operational support to field personnel during project planning and execution.
  • Ensure all interventions are executed in accordance with contractual requirements, established procedures, and customer expectations.
  • Verify technicians possess the required certifications, qualifications, and competencies necessary to perform assigned work safely and effectively.
  • Oversee workshop preparation and support activities to ensure readiness for project execution.
  • Ensure engineering, technical, inspection, and quality assurance requirements comply with company and customer standards.
  • Lead project safety planning activities, including preparation and review of JSAs and other required project documentation.
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability while ensuring compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
  • Monitor field operations to verify safe work practices and operational compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks that may impact safety, schedule, quality, or project performance.
  • Prepare and submit monthly HSE and operational performance reports.
  • Track project performance metrics, customer feedback, and operational results to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead lessons learned discussions and support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor contractor and vendor performance to ensure quality, responsiveness, and adherence to project requirements.
  • Remain current on industry developments, technologies, operational procedures, and best practices and implement improvements where appropriate.

Overview:

The Technical Services Coordinator is responsible for supporting and managing the planning, execution, and successful delivery of pipeline service projects from initiation through completion. This role serves as a key project management resource, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, tracking budgets and performance metrics, mitigating project risks, and ensuring alignment with customer expectations and operational objectives.

Acting as the primary liaison between field personnel, customers, project stakeholders, management, subcontractors, and support departments, the Technical Services Coordinator facilitates effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. This includes providing project status updates, coordinating stakeholder meetings, documenting action items, managing customer expectations, resolving project-related issues, and ensuring all parties remain informed of project progress, risks, schedule changes, and critical decision points.

The position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards. Responsibilities include supporting project scoping and planning activities, developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking costs and change orders, managing project documentation and deliverables, monitoring resource utilization, supporting procurement and subcontractor coordination, identifying and mitigating project risks, and preparing project performance reports for leadership and customers.

Additionally, the Technical Services Coordinator fosters strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by promoting collaboration, facilitating problem resolution, gathering project requirements, and ensuring operational priorities are aligned with customer needs and business objectives. The role supports pipeline construction, maintenance, integrity management, inspection, and specialty service activities while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Experience
  • Technical degree or equivalent preferred, combined with min 3 years of pipeline operations or related experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Familiarity with hydraulics, piping materials and operating fluid systems; ability to read blueprints.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Must be available for calls afterhours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Good commercial and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
