Position Description

Tata Electronics is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of business systems that support engineering, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams. This role will drive the implementation of scalable solutions for live document collaboration, change management, issue tracking, project execution, workflow automation, and cross-functional communication.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical aptitude with exceptional program management skills and has experience translating business requirements into scalable systems and processes. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and IT partners to ensure Tata Electronics has the digital infrastructure required to support rapid growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Systems and Process Transformation
  • Lead the evaluation, deployment, administration, and continuous improvement of business collaboration and workflow platforms including Jira, Microsoft Teams, Planner Premium, SharePoint, ServiceNow, and related systems.

  • Define system governance models, user roles, workflows, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting structures.
  • Develop standardized business processes that improve traceability, accountability, and operational efficiency across teams.
Business Requirements & System Design
  • Gather requirements and translate business needs into detailed workflows, user stories, process maps, and technical requirements.
  • Partner with internal IT teams and external software vendors to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Author business requirements documents, technical requirements, and implementation plans.
Program & Issue Management
  • Own the deployment and operation of issue management systems and governance processes.
  • Lead Jira implementation strategy including project structures, workflows, reporting, dashboards, and integration requirements.
  • Establish executive-level visibility for issue tracking, risk management, project milestones, and operational performance.
  • Manage cross-functional escalations and ensure timely closure of critical issues.
  • Develop KPI dashboards and reporting mechanisms that support data-driven decision making
  • Strong technical acumen with a deep understanding of consumer electronics manufacturing, supply chain, and product development.
  • Excellent program management skills with the ability to manage complex cross-functional projects.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities to drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset, with problem-solving skills to navigate ambiguity and complexity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with multiple priorities.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence decision-making across global teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical or a related field).
  • Master's degree (MBA or M.S.) is a plus.
Desired Experience Level
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, or supply chain management within the consumer electronics industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale technical programs from concept to production.
  • Experience working with OEM/ODM partners and driving manufacturing process improvements.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and operational efficiencies in high-volume consumer electronics production.
  • Hands-on experience in managing supply chain dynamics, logistics, and procurement.
  • Experience in Data-driven manufacturing, automation, or Industry 4.0 technologies is a plus.
