Job summary

Google is seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to lead multi-disciplinary projects from concept to deployment. You will plan requirements, manage risks, and communicate with executives and engineers across teams.

You’ll influence cross-functional partners and drive the delivery of complex data platform initiatives. The AI and Infrastructure team empowers Google customers with scalable, reliable capabilities, spanning TPUs, Vertex AI, Data Center operations, and more.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in technical program management, systems engineering, or software engineering management, with experience in shipping distributed systems or data platforms.
Experience with high-throughput data pipelines, real-time logging/processing infrastructure (e.g., Kafka, Flume, BigQuery, MapReduce), and API integrations.
Experience managing system integrations and multi-quarter technical initiatives from concept to deployment across engineering organizations.

Responsibilities

Co-author the technical roadmap for a real-time execution oversight dashboard. Establish telemetry models to capture live operational data against capacity.
Standardize operational frameworks and lead complex integrations across domains (e.g., logistics, supply chain) to seamlessly capture previously invisible workflows.
Act as the primary technical interface for partners, ensuring foundational schemas align perfectly with downstream dependencies for total compliance.
Deconstruct complex problems into executable phases. Execute a crawl, walk, run delivery model to match real-time telemetry with legacy systems.
Advocate the program organization-wide by building deep engineering alignment. Mentor peers and introduce agile practices to drive rapid, incremental value.
