Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead multi-disciplinary engineering projects, plan requirements with internal customers, and shepherd initiatives through full lifecycle. You will manage schedules, risks, and communications with executives, while balancing technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

You will oversee Engineering programs and teams within Google’s Global Infrastructure Delivery, focusing on scalable data models, data governance, and strategic data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience in leadership role with/without direct reports.
• 10 years of experience in related disciplines (e.g., IS/CS/Data Science).
• 8 years in technical program management in data or systems management, exec-level communications, large-scale change management or program strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and a central data warehouse repository.
• Create and drive data governance policies for access, security, integrity, and availability.
• Lead strategic initiatives to produce actionable insights and cross-functional solutions that improve efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align data architecture standards and KPI definitions.
• Provide data engineering leadership and drive vendor management and compliance.
