Job summary

Lam Research in Fremont, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager to orchestrate breakthroughs across cross-functional teams and own projects from initiation through delivery. You will blend technical excellence with strategic planning to bring new or upgraded products to market.

The role requires strong communication, a track record in program management for complex hardware projects, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master’s degree with 3+ years’ experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
• Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.

Responsibilities

• Over-see the optimization or creation of technical product offerings, processes, or programs, developing project plans, aligning teams, managing risk, and driving projects through release.
• Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meets business requirements on time and within budget.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements, and deliver enhancements based on a changing technology landscape.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.
• Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
• Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process and inspire alignment.
• Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintains long-term success.
• Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
