Job summary

Amperesand, Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager Intern in Reno to help plan, coordinate, and track development of advanced power infrastructure products. You will work with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and leadership teams to gain hands-on experience in hardware program execution.

You will contribute to design change management, data analysis, and executive reporting under guidance from senior PMs, gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• Ability to understand technical concepts and engineering tradeoffs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end execution of the design change management process with intake, impact assessment, approvals, release, and closure.
• Coordinate change reviews across hardware, firmware, manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.
• Maintain BOMs, design revisions, and engineering records in Enovia.
• Analyze cost impact of design changes to inform decisions.
• Track program schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Build and maintain executive dashboards on program health and milestones.
• Develop supplier scorecards tracking lead times and quality for key vendors.
• Support prototype build coordination and test readiness.
• Prepare status updates and action items for program reviews.
• Identify process gaps and help create templates and docs.
