Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is hiring a Technical Program Manager focused on Interior Systems in Long Beach, CA. You will scope work, plan requirements, identify risks, and manage budgets to deliver fully integrated EV interior systems on schedule.

You will work in a high‑interaction team, driving cross‑functional collaboration among engineering, supply chain, and finance to achieve cost, weight and performance targets while maintaining rigorous program governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical program management in an engineering setting involving hardware development.
• Detailed knowledge of product development process from design, development, validation and integration.
• Knowledge of the materials, processes & technologies used to deliverInteriorengineering content.
• Proven experience driving progress on multiple projects across multiple locations and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering teams towards containment and resolution of issues raised from design reviews, virtual builds, and build events to protect the program’s schedule to start of production (SOP) and ongoing production.
• Maintain supplier relationships in collaboration with Supply Chain team to ensure timely deliveries for build events.
• Monitor work outputs and deliverables for potential systems and vehicle incompatibilities and opportunities for greater integration, velocity, and collaboration.
• Ensure problems are transparent and risks are identified and proactively ensure that risk mitigating actions are ongoing within relevant engineering teams.
• Set agenda for key decisions to be made at each meeting to eliminate bottlenecks and retire risks.
• Support key decisions working cross-functionally across engineering, finance, and strategy to reach the right conclusions.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
