Job summary

Ford’s EVDD team seeks a Technical Program Manager to drive complex hardware projects from ideation through design and validation. You will scope work, plan requirements, manage budgets, and communicate progress within a small, high-performing team delivering integrated interior systems.

The role emphasizes cross-functional leadership, risk management, and collaboration across engineering, finance, and strategy, with travel up to 15%. Hybrid onsite four days a week; salary grade 8.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading complex hardware-focused programs.

Responsibilities

• Drive engineering teams toward containment and resolution of design issues to protect SOP and production.
• Maintain supplier relationships with Supply Chain to ensure timely build event deliveries.
• Monitor outputs for system and vehicle integration opportunities and risks.
• Ensure transparency of problems and proactive risk mitigation actions.
• Set meeting agendas to drive decisions and remove bottlenecks.
• Collaborate cross-functionally across engineering, finance, and strategy to reach conclusions.
