Job summary

Google Mountain View, CA is seeking a Technical Program Manager III to lead cross-functional ML and data initiatives for the Pixel team. You will plan requirements, manage schedules, identify risks, and communicate with executives and engineers.

The role emphasizes data governance, ML model deployment, and collaboration across platforms. You will mentor teammates and help ship consumer devices with cutting edge AI features.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Seek out all necessary schedule inputs and develop a solid, defensible plan for software development release and keep the team tracking to it.
  • Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and externally (customers, partners, etc.), and escalates issues as necessary.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs related to data governance, ethics, policy, security, and privacy sensitivities.
  • Focus on the user experience and advocate for the Android/Pixel quality bar internally, as well as with OEM internal and external partners to ensure we maintain a great product.
  • Translate complex technical requirements into repeatable operations protocols.

  • Experience with mobile application pen testing.
