Job summary

Google in Mountain View is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional, multi-disciplinary software projects from planning to release. You will coordinate requirements, risks, schedules and communicate with executives and engineers, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders.

You will focus on the user experience across Pixel devices and AI initiatives, balancing technical tradeoffs with product goals and security considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of program management experience.
• Experience with AI/ML model development and deployment.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, policies, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Seek out all necessary schedule inputs and develop a solid, defensible plan for software development release and keep the team tracking to it.
• Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and externally (customers, partners, etc.), and escalates issues as necessary.
• Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs related todata governance, ethics, policy, security, and privacy sensitivities.
• Focus on the user experience and advocate for the Android/Pixel quality bar internally, as well as with OEM internal and external partners to ensure we maintain a great product.
• Translate complex technical requirements into repeatable operations protocols.

• Experience with the software development life cycle and commercializing technical product launches.


• Experience with specialized machine learning infrastructure, as well as with Android and deploying on-device ML models.


• Experience with mobile application pen testing.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
