Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects across Google Data Centers. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners, from executives to engineers.

The Data Center Operations team powers Google’s infrastructure with reliable, safe, and scalable systems. Your work will span Greenfield and Brownfield sites, including BMS and EPMS integration, incident response, and data-driven

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program management.
Experience with data centers.
Experience in electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.

Responsibilities

Lead technical projects, such as those involving Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS) for both Greenfield (new build) and Brownfield (retrofit) sites, including scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Respond to and resolve incidents related to critical infrastructure, utilizing data from BMS and EPMS systems, coordinating with vendors and implementing preventative measures.
Collect and analyze operational data, including incident reports and system performance metrics, to identify trends and drive process improvements.
Develop dashboards and visualizations to monitor system health, identify optimization opportunities, and make data-backed recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaborate with operational teams and vendors to mitigate risks identified.
