Job summary

F5 is seeking a Technical Program Manager-internship return role in San Jose, CA. The candidate will support engineering and operations teams, gathering product requirements and prioritizing features to drive the Distributed Cloud platform forward.

The role emphasizes planning, data reporting, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with product management, developers, and customers. Onsite work is required per policy.

Qualifications

• Successfully completed a Summer 2026 internship with F5.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related technical field graduating between December 2026 and September 2027.
• Must be able to start no later than September 30th, 2027.
• Must be able to work onsite in accordance with F5s policies; fully remote work options are not available.
• Completed a Data Structures course in a modern, object-oriented programming language or possess equivalent knowledge

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the project plan including scope, schedule, resources, dependencies, and budget.
• Lead the gathering of product requirements and project scope across multiple teams or functions.
• Negotiate priorities and establish delivery plans aligned with organizational objectives.
• Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair delivery schedules.
• Monitor progress to plan and design recovery strategies if needed.
• Provide data analytics to support operational improvements and cost reporting.
• Design and deliver Executive-level presentations for Product Lifecycle Management governance.
