Job summary

BackOps is seeking a Technical Program Manager in San Francisco. You will own the cross-functional operating system that coordinates programs, influence what gets built, and ensure timely end-to-end delivery under the VP of Engineering.

You will work directly with the CTO and Head of Product to shape programs, minimize unplanned work, and establish scalable processes while maintaining a bias for action and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in technical program management, engineering, or blend.
• Owns an operating system mindset: planning, intake, prioritization.
• Technical credibility with senior engineers and architects; can discuss design and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Own the operating system this organization runs on: planning cadence, intake, prioritization.
• Own top strategic programs end to end from framing to live delivery.
• Build dependency and risk pictures across engineering, product, and customer delivery; surface issues early.
• Define metrics to show program health and deliver risk visibility to leadership.
• Grow other program managers as the function scales.
