Job summary

Talentpair is seeking a highly technical Technical Program Manager in the San Francisco Bay Area to drive major product and engineering initiatives. You will partner with Engineering, Product, Design, and leadership to define priorities and translate objectives into executable plans.

The role requires deep software product experience, a background in software engineering preferred, and the ability to manage complex roadmaps across multiple teams and time zones.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of experience in technical program management or similar roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a highly technical field preferred.
• Software engineering background is highly desirable.
• Experience delivering complex software products or platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, system architecture, APIs, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cross-functional software programs from concept through launch.
• Define priorities and translate objectives into clear tech roadmaps.
• Own program planning across multiple engineering teams with milestones and risks.
• Develop and maintain product and technical roadmaps with senior stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into actionable engineering plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and executives on architecture and trade-offs.
• Drive quarterly and long-range planning across Engineering and Product.
• Identify dependencies and remove blockers to delivery.
• Establish operating rhythms and reporting for complex initiatives.
• Improve visibility into project status for leadership and stakeholders.
