Job summary

Google DeepMind is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Data Collection and Model Evaluation on a 12‑month fixed-term contract in Mountain View. You will lead complex, data-centric programs spanning pre-training, SFT, and benchmark evaluations across multimodal domains, turning research requirements into scalable pipelines.

Collaborate with research, engineering, and vendor operations to define data specifications, manage external providers, and drive workflows onto internal platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, quantitative, or operational field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in technical program management, data operations, or AI/ML program management.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end data collection and model evaluation programs across multiple modalities.
• Coordinate with research, engineering, and vendor operations to translate requirements into scalable pipelines.
• Oversee external data service providers and ensure data quality and compliance.
• Monitor telemetry and diagnose data anomalies using dashboards.
• Communicate progress, risks, and results to leadership.
