Job summary

Google DeepMind is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Science & Reasoning to lead cross‑disciplinary engineering programs at the intersection of frontier AI and scientific domains. You will plan requirements with internal clients, manage schedules, risks, and transfers, and drive data collection, SFT, verifiable RL environments, and Gemini release milestones.

This role requires deep technical leadership and the ability to translate research hypotheses into concrete training and evaluation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Physical Science, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with technical programs, research engineering, or applied AI/ML projects (or 3 years with a PhD).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise.
• Plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.
• Manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Explain analyses and recommendations to executives and discuss trade-offs with engineers.
• Drive execution for data collection, SFT, and verifiable RL training environments.
