Job summary

HireArt is seeking a Technical Program Manager - Body & Closures in Foster City, CA to support development of vehicle body systems. You will coordinate with mechanical engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external suppliers to drive programs from design through production.

The role emphasizes managing schedules, tracking issues, and ensuring on-time milestones in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or related field.
• Experience with hardware product development lifecycle from design to build.
• Strong organizational and communication skills for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed project schedules for body mechanisms and closures.
• Coordinate with external suppliers for hardware builds and milestones.
• Track sign-offs, timing, and milestones to keep programs on track.
• Investigate build issues and drive root cause resolution across teams.
• Collaborate with ME, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sustaining engineering.
• Attend supplier meetings and manage action items and escalations.
• Support engineering releases and change actions through product lifecycle processes.
• Maintain Jira tickets, schedules, and program docs; report status and risks.
