Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to lead seating system design and development. You will drive alignment with offshore teams, manage design releases, and ensure on-time delivery of seating components such as cushion frames, back frames, headrests, and related assemblies.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of automotive seating experience, with CATIA V5/V6 proficiency and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 3 years of experience in automotive seating system and subsystem design and development.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and capability to drive offshore team.
• Meet project deliverables commitments and timelines.
• Regulatory and certification requirements for seating system.
• Complete and release Seating system, sub-system and detail designs.
• Propose and promote design improvement approaches including cost reduction and design optimization.
• Actively engage with Automotive OEM / Tier-I design engineers to collaborate on design projects for trading off cost, mass, joining methods, molding and testing performance.

Responsabilités

• Lead design FMEA studies and GD&T.
• Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documentation.
• Coordinate seating design activities across suppliers and internal teams.
• Inspect and interpret CAE results to inform product design.
