Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional execution for the Waymo Driver and Foundation Model initiatives. You will partner with engineering, research and product teams to maintain roadmaps, manage risks, and deliver complex ML-enabled projects in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in software engineering.
• Proven track record of managing complex ML/AI projects.
• Experience with ML models, training pipelines, or evaluation frameworks.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, and release management.
• Manage project schedules, risks, dependencies, and mitigations.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering, research, and product teams.
• Track and report progress, risks, and KPIs to leadership.
• Contribute to strategic planning and technical roadmap for Waymo Foundation Model.
• Identify and resolve roadblocks across organizational boundaries.
