Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. in Fremont, CA is seeking a senior engineering leader to drive cross-functional development of advanced semiconductor test systems, from concept through high-volume manufacturing.

You will oversee design, validation, and release of sub-assemblies and full systems, translating customer requirements into engineering plans and ensuring SEMI regulatory compliance. This role demands hands-on problem solving, strong program management, and a track record leading diverse teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline is required.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred; PMP certification preferred.
• 10 years experience in semiconductor industry, capital equipment, or high-complexity electromechanical systems (Semiconductor test systems).
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams through full product lifecycle from concept and design through NPI, pilot builds, and high-volume manufacturing (HVM).
• Fluent with compliance/safety and regulatory standards (e.g., SEMI S2/S8, F47, CE).
• Familiar with tools: FMEA, 8D, DMAIC, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with DFM/DFT methodologies, reliability testing, problem solving: 8D, Fishbone, FMEA & DMAIC.
• Support development of production and reliability tests to ensure robust product performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product development teams across mechanical, thermal, electrical, software, and automation/robotics domains.
• Strategic program oversight with deep technical engagement, ensuring timely delivery of high-performance solutions.
• Drive the development of complex test systems for cutting-edge semiconductor devices.
• Translate customer requirements into actionable engineering plans and performance standards.
• Oversee design, validation, and release of sub-assemblies and full systems.
