Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Head of Test Engineering to lead a team that develops test programs for production in a high-volume semiconductor environment.

You will define test strategies, oversee hardware and software development, and collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure testability and product success. Strong leadership and deep knowledge of ATE and DFT are required.

Qualifications

• MS or BS in EE or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in test engineering.
• 2-3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with ATE platforms.
• Proven expertise in test program development, debugging and validation.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics, DFT techniques, and failure analysis.
• Experience with Java, C/C++, Python, Perl.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in managing teams in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• ISO, JEDEC, or automotive (AEC-Q100) quality standards.
• Experience with PAC, mixed-signal or RF testing is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of application engineers to develop test programs for high-volume production.
• Generate project plans.
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to influence decisions.
• Define and execute test strategies and roadmaps.
• Oversee test hardware (load boards, probe cards, interface hardware) and software development.
• Collaborate with customer, sales, BD/MKT, COE and R&D to define product testability strategies.
• Own and monitor KPIs related to test development and production quality.
• Ensure timely support for NPIs and transitions to high-volume manufacturing.
• Manage ATE infrastructure, tools, and vendor relationships.
• Support root cause analysis of test escapes.
• Lead hiring, mentoring, performance management and career development for the test engineering team.
