Job summary

ChampionX in Midland, TX is seeking a Technical Professional to work in an autonomous, hands-on environment. You will support RFP responses, field tests, and data interpretation for customer applications.

This role requires a technical engineering degree, MS Office proficiency, a valid driver's license, and ideally 4+ years in technical service or field sales support; immigration sponsorship is not offered. The position is safety-sensitive with potential drug testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• MS Office literacy.
• Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• 4+ years of successful technical service or field sales support.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience.
• History of autonomy and self-motivation.
• Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may require drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in RFP responses and uses customer applications to generate and interpret data.
• Applies product knowledge to make recommendations to customers.
• Performs field tests and troubleshooting on issues which require alternative courses of action.
• Demonstrates foundational knowledge of technical principles of products.
• Solves problems using set guidelines or procedures and can communicate well.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in existing customers and in new accounts.
