Job summary

ChampionX is seeking a Chemical Service Technician in Pecos, TX. The role provides routine service support to Sales Representatives and assists with start-ups of new applications, while delivering technical support to customers and resolving issues in the field.

You will perform chemistry tests, log data, maintain inventories, and install/calibrate chemical feed and monitoring equipment at customer sites. Expected travel is up to 10% with a strong safety culture and company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• 2 years of successful technical service or field support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic district accounts to execute customer system assurance plans.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in existing and new accounts.
• Provide technical support to customers, identifying and resolving issues, escalating as required.
• Execute chemistry tests, log and report data, and maintain product inventories at assigned customer accounts.
• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical feed and process monitoring equipment at customer sites.
